About Lachune

I was born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, a region rich with diverse musical traditions. Growing up, I was immersed in a variety of styles including folk, Americana, blues, gospel, jazz, R&B, and Contemporary Christian music. This eclectic musical environment shaped my deep appreciation and understanding of different genres.

I hold a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Voice and am currently completing my Master of Music in Voice Performance. Additionally, I have earned a Certification in Vocal Functioning 101 through Maddie Tarbox. As one of the many evidence-based voice teachers, my approach combines voice science, the experience of voice teachers, and the unique goals and perspectives of each student.

I named my voice studio "Head to Heart" because I believe that singers need both knowledge and passion to truly excel. We are all artists, yet many singers are unaware of the tools they already possess. My mission is to help you uncover and unleash the many colors your voice can paint with and to do it with ease.

I teach students of all levels with a variety of goals. Whether you're a beginner looking to build your foundation or an advanced singer aiming to refine your skills, I'm here to guide you on your vocal journey.

I practice what I preach by actively creating my artitict career with authenticity. I sing about the things I care about in the way I want to, and I use my ongoing education, performing experience, and practical insights to help my students achieve their own goals.
